If you are looking for a short brief on EI then you go for this, however not much content. I felt like having read a magazine article rather than a book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Highly Recommend EI Guide, 30 Jan. 2014
This review is from: Emotional Intelligence: Quick Guide to Develop Your Emotional Intelligence and Start Applying It Today (Communication Skills, Soft Skills, Interpersonal ... People Skills, Leadership Books Series) (Kindle Edition)
I found this book on Emotional Intelligence to be an excellent reading source for those searching on the topic. For a shorter book, the author Will Wyatt does a really great job portraying the most important points. EI is highly underrated and overlook but is very important to everyday life. This ones a keeper!

This review is from: Emotional Intelligence: Quick Guide to Develop Your Emotional Intelligence and Start Applying It Today (Communication Skills, Soft Skills, Interpersonal ... People Skills, Leadership Books Series) (Kindle Edition)
It's nice to find every now and then a read worth reviewing. This is one of those books. Emotional Intelligence is a incredible complex subject, yet this title seems to get down to the point. It contains proven, solid, down to earth advice on how to improve your Emotional IQ in a rather quick way. Highy recommended!

4.0 out of 5 stars Quite a good top level overview, shame about the proofing!, 27 April 2014

This book is relatively short and to the point with plenty of good info and strategies. It is certainly a better intro to EI than, for example, Daniel Goleman's text. Unfortunately, I lost count of the number of typographical errors, mainly missing words, which spoil it, 4/5 otherwise.
