Bought this album for my Dad for Christmas and the whole family loves it. Was recommended by my local record shop, where it was their album of the year and we all agreed before we finished even finished listening to it.
Great lyrics - clear jazz influence, without it being too jazzy.
Some moments where we all danced round the kitchen, but really easy listening - in the very best sense of the word - highly recommended!

What a great album. Smart, interesting, great arrangements, catchy yet interesting songs, and a voice like velvet.

Give it a listen.

Inspired by the southern soul sounds popularised by artists like Otis Redding and Aretha Franklin and later adapted by Elvis Presley
Matthew e white shows others how it is done
With a big band and a respect for what went before
Expect to see him playing arenas soon
