5.0 out of 5 stars Best LED ever tried
Purchased GU10 7W version. Absolutely 'brilliant'. Good spread of light, not a narrow beam. I have tried several low energy LED and CFL bulbs from various sources, some cheap some expensive. Nothing has so far replaced the 50W conventional spots. I was using 3 x LED GU10 (5W 60 LED version) plus a 300W halogen uplighter in my office. Now 3 x 7W Ecozone GU10's are a bit...

3.0 out of 5 stars Good LED but
Excellent quality, light output, beam angle etc but daylight white colour should really be called "scary white" (slightly too blue)!
Warm white for me next time but Ecozone don't seem to sell this.

Nothing has so far replaced the 50W conventional spots. I was using 3 x LED GU10 (5W 60 LED version) plus a 300W halogen uplighter in my office. Now 3 x 7W Ecozone GU10's are a bit too bright! Saving 294W or £6.50/month.
Example 2. Had reverted from LED to 4x50W spots in kitchen, (5m x 3.5m). Now 4 x 7W Ecozone LED are almost too bright, (according to my wife). Saving 172W or £4.50 per month, (based on 0.13p per Kwh).

I must agree with the other reviewer, who notes that these are the only LED builds which provide sufficient light and are comparable to a 50 watt halogen bulb. The light is a lovely bright, white colour and I can now see to read for get first time. I too have tried many other brands to no avail and shall not buy anything else now.

5.0 out of 5 stars When it says Superbright it's not marketing fluff.., 4 Jun 2014

Was really impressed when I first installed these LEDs. I replaced some 50W traditional halogen GU10s, and the Ecozone is *noticeably* brighter than those. I'd rate it at least 60W equivalent, maybe more.

There is a slightly blue-white tinge compared to the yellow tone of the halogens. This is in an office so it's not a big deal, but you might want to get a warmer tone (if you can find one)
