In a useful analytical review of this series on another Amazon site, the writer sums it up as "fast-food pseudoscience". We could add "soap-opera pseudoarchaeology". Readers of Paul Brunton's "A Search in Secret Egypt", published in 1931 (I read it in 1952), will know that this sort of thing is old hat.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Fascinating & Accurate!, 17 Mar 2010
I first heard of the pyramid code after hearing an in depth interview with Carmen Boulson on an american radio station called "Coast to coast" (which is also worth checking out on youtube.)

Having always been fascninated with Egypt's history and somewhat 'mystical spirituality' I decided to get myself a copy. The documentary is laid out in five 45 minute episodes to make for easy viewing and possible television airing.

The documentary is put forth by Carmen Boulson, whose exhaustive study of Egypt has included over 50 visits to this sacred place! The 'Pyramid code' mainly sets out to show the viewer the ground breaking, (and also secretive evidence,) in the ways the Egyptian's lived and to finally put aside the so called "truths" that we have been subsequently spoon fed by rigid narrow minded scholars, historians and Egyptian authorities. Until now that is!

With the help of a charasmatic Egyptian wisdom keeper and input from various geologists and authors (Robert Bauval being one) they manage to shed remarkable new light on what seems to be a very old deception indeed! The deception being that the ancient people of Egypt were primitive, superstitous, greedy and unspiritual beings!!! This claim could not be further from the truth!

This is a well documented, insightful and thought provoking look at Egypt's great long lost spirituality. Along with this it also covers such topics as the pyramids, what they were and there main functions (which is quite mind blowing in itself!) Followed by much tantalising evidence put forth by the highly studied hieroglyph's themselves, which quite clearly unveil the purpose and age of the pyramids and the evolved Egyptian civilisation.

This dvd is a must have for anyone interested in Egypt and it's more accurate history and spirituality. Much can be gained from this knowledge as it really shines new light on are perceived ideas of the ancient peoples of Egypt.

If you are like me and have a thirst for even more knowledge about this particular topic then I would also recommend "magical egypt" which delves even further into the history and origins of the Egyptians deep spirituality. It is also a nice follow on from 'The pyramid code' and offers even more insights to the viewer. If you cannot find this title to purchase online you can now (thankfully) view it on youtube.

Let's hope that what the ancient Egyptians, Mayans and other advanced civilisations saw in the heavens are right. We are going through great changes in humanity at this time and are finally coming out of the dark ages and back into the light!

5.0 out of 5 stars Loved it!, 13 Jan 2014

I really, really enjoyed this DVD. The documentary have five episodes with each their own topic. It is well discussed and illustrated. I also think that introducing the 'Indigenous Wisdom Keeper', Hakeem, added something more than 'the ususal'. It is a documentary that you can see again and again, because each episode contains so much information. The only thing I missed was subtitles since people like Hakeem and others, were difficult to understand.

5.0 out of 5 stars If you want to know the truth, 27 Dec 2009
This is a great film, done in espsodes so that it can easily be watched in sections, I guess so that it will eventually be bought by a tv station and aired.

Full of interesting and enlightening information and done in a very watchable way.

It will inform those who are interested and entertain those who might not wish to take the knowledge further.

Michael Tsarion is a good person to look into too for more on the ancients.

4.0 out of 5 stars Interesting Series, 27 April 2014
This review is from: The Pyramid Code - Season 1 (Amazon Instant Video)
The 5 part series of The Pyramid Code was very interesting and gave food for thought on many of points of interests that were brought up in the series. It's very easy to quickly judge and dismiss this a bunk or that 'new age stuff', the show brought up many interesting subjects that were briefly explained, yet, if one is interested enough, will investigate further on their own.

Even today (2014) there hasn't been a good explanation as to why the Pyramids were built and there purpose. This is where the open mind has to come in, without an open mind, one is lead down a very narrow path. It's worth watching, the Egyptian tour guide, Abd'el Hakim Awyan was very interesting and listening to him, one got the sense that he knew what he was talking about and had insights to the early Egyptians.
