Mr. David W. Legg (Ashford, Middlesex, UK) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
The author looks mainly at how the Old Testament points to Christ.
Most of his time is spent in Genesis, identifying types of Christ.
The book is both inspirational and theological.
The subject is vast that it only really scratches the surface, but
has the advantage that it does not encourage uncontrolled type-spotting.
However, I do wonder if Ed Clowney is being a bit cagy when he
refuses to acknowledge Joseph as a type of Christ? He calls Joseph
a 'sign'. To me this seems to be playing with words.
But, altogether this is great little book.
