Edited 20/08/2012 - as per request from "author", see comments.

This book earns one extra star only because it had so much potential, however, as my title suggests, it was let down badly by too many coincidences and flawed logic. When the book concludes, I hope you'll see exactly what I'm talking about.

Also, it might not be any fault of the author however the Kindle format is full of bad grammar, spelling mistakes and contradictions.

What a sad tale. You are caught up from the first page. Not sure whether the main character is innocent or not as the story progresses. Although it deals with the subject of grooming it is not done in such a way that this book should be avoided as it is only a premise to the rest of the tale.

This was a pretty horrific novel which had me rapt from the first chapter. This was my first time reading Kevin Guest and it was very tense read. The writer covers many sensitive issues within this novel and does so in a harsh, realistic way which will stay with the reader long after the book has been finished. I found myself being absolutely certain of the ending most of the way through and was completely surprised to find that the book had totally thrown me. The ending comes out of nowhere and hots you square in the face.

I would recommend that sensitive readers don't bother but if you want a hard hitting novel, which also takes you through a rollercoaster of emotions, then this is perfect reading.

This book had me gripped from start to finish and I couldn't out it down. It's absolutely horrific, and some of the things that happened really disturbed me. It's cleverly written, in a way that makes sure the reader doesn't know what to believe and who to trust.

There is some really uncomfortable content - and after I'd finished reading it, it took me ages to calm myself down. It had a really strong affect on me, and I couldn't stop talking about it afterwards - to anyone who would listen.

I wholeheatedly recommend this book to anyone who likes a good thriller, and who likes to lose themselves fully in a story. Amazing!

I read all the reviews, good and bad, for this before I downloaded it and then I ignored them all as the 'blurb' sounded good, so much so in fact, I decided to leave the book I'm half way through reading and start it. I'm not going to rehash the blurb but will say (as it isn't mentioned) the book is about grooming under age girls. What a bloody good book it is (don't know why it's categorized with the horrors though) Its also one that keeps you guessing. I can usually guess the ending to a book, but this one beat me. Just when I thought one thing, bam! it changed. Then when I thought "ahh, got it!" nope, I didn't. Very clever. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes crime/prison/violent type books. You could read the reviews and decide whether you think it's worth it or you can do what I did, read them and ignore them. I'm glad I did!

This was reccommended by a work mate who knew my taste in books and I downloaded it straight away. And I read it in a day - completley ignoring my son's pleas to play with him on a rainy Sunday. If I had to put it down I was quickly back to my kindle and reading once more.

Totally readable, totally believable, totally unputdownable.

This book is not for the faint hearted and some scenes are really sick and perverted but I'm so glad the author did not shy away from the subject matter and gave it his total emotions and words. Well done - I've told my work mate that he is allowed to advise me again as I now trust his judgement - Thanks Terry.

I gave this book five stars because it deserves it.

The title of this book nearly put me off decided to go ahead and buy it I am glad I did. It is what you imagine what jail is for a child molester. Did suss the ending out, the book was a page turner.

This book passed a few nights for me. The one thing that put me off throughout, were the spelling mistakes, hence the 3 stars instead of 4. This story does complete the task of the author to make people appreciate their lives and give an insight into what prison life is probably like, and also makes you wonder how many miscarriages of justice happen and how many innocent people are sitting in prisons around the world.

I wasn't sure what to expect from this novel, however was very surprised. I don't want to say too much about the story itself and give away any spoilers, but I found this gripping. Yes there are a couple of grammatical errors and spelling mistakes, but in no way did that distract from my enjoyment of the book.

Not a bad book at all, but yeah there are quite a few mistakes in spelling and grammer - still a good read - so it's a shame this has let the author dowm.

Let me edit it for you...for free - then you can upload it again and hopefully only have comments on your writing - let me know xx
