5.0 out of 5 stars Easy quick and cheap
I'm finding "too" easy, quick and cheap to buy downloads in Amazon. Is becoming a bit if an addiction. They are also cheaper than in iTunes ;)

3.0 out of 5 stars Electro pop/rock from Belgium.
Bring It On was actually released in a very limited capacity last year. Thanks to a tip from a friend I checked it out. The album is very enjoyable if a little light on truly great moments. It's one of those albums that sounds like the makers had a great time putting it together and as such this good will rubs off on the listener. The band are one of those that mainly...

Bring It On was actually released in a very limited capacity last year. Thanks to a tip from a friend I checked it out. The album is very enjoyable if a little light on truly great moments. It's one of those albums that sounds like the makers had a great time putting it together and as such this good will rubs off on the listener. The band are one of those that mainly only play synths and most of the sounds are very eighties, but in a good way for once. There's a nice rough edge to the album, instead of the overproduction that decade suggests. Nothing on here sounds as cutting edge as anything on the latest Hot Chip album, but then Goose aren't trying to be them, yet it may be off the back of their success that the band finds an audience in the UK.

2.0 out of 5 stars Better as a live band, 5 Oct 2007

I saw Goose support Soulwax last year at the Warehouse Project in Manchester and was very much impressed by them. They have some similarities to Soulwax and as a live band they put on a great performance with their catchy, electro set.

Translated to an album, one is immediately aware of this band's weaknesses. Whilst there are some wonderfully insistent tracks (British Mode, Bring It On, 3T4), the rest of the album doesn't live up to these highlights. Many tracks repeat ideas, and are lightweight. There is definately some filler on the album too with the last track Safari Beach a horribly dull instrumental that evokes the worst aspects of synth music. The bonus track Audience isn't worth checking out either.

Disappointing.
