My camera will only take compact flash cards, maximimum 8g. The price of these now is over £2 per gig, with this adapter I can use the much cheaper SD & SDHC cards with no loss in performance.

I use a Canon 400D which takes CF cards which i do not have many of, however I do have lots of SD cards, so this came in very handy.

I have several of these, my others are the fourth generation, this is the third, the data pass-through seems to be the same but this is physically half a mill thicker and it's a tight fit in the CF slot.

Please note all you 5D3 owners this will NOT fit your camera, the 5D3 only has a type 1 CF slot, this will be too thick.

Good value and works well, it's just a shame they can't design one you don't have to remove to get the SD card out, that WOULD be useful.

Works very well in Nikon D100 and D200 with 2, 4, 8,16 and 32GB SDHC, but, the D100 was never designed for such high capacity cards, so it is a bit slow when you first switch it on or do playback, though it works instantly if you stay with 2GB as that's what the camera was designed for. I did try 64GB SDXC and the camera said "Card Not Formatted" which is what I expected as 64GB cards were unheard of when these cameras were made). I also used it with a Toshiba Flash Air 32 GB.

Great bit of kit.
I can now transfer my raw images at super SD speeds! You won't be disappointed.
Highly recommend.

Works great in my Canon EOS350D with SD and microSD cards (when used with a full size SD adaptor). EyeFi card does not work in it, but FlashAir card does. See my other review on FlashAir card.

After a week's use I can confirm that this works with the canon 7D.

At first I was a bit uncertain since it's not a really positive fit and I got an error message. But pushing a bit harder sorted that out and no problems now. And it's much cheaper than the well known makes.

My advice would be to be cautious with this product and don't undertake any critical photography until you are confident it is working properly.

Excellent little device. Works perfectly in my Canon 7D and 50D. Tried it with a SanDisk 16Gb Micro SD card in it's adaptor and it fitted in without any problem. , Reformatted the card via the camera menu and took some pictures which downloaded straight away into Lightroom.

Great little add on to the camera bag and gives some flexibility now as to what cards I can use in the camera.

Bought one as I have a stack of sd cards and cf cards with a decent write speed are quite expensive. Whilst it does seem to work well, it's dimensions do seem a bit off. I have been informed that it shouldn't be so tight in my Canon 30d. It is quite difficult to remove but it works fine for the moment hence 4 not 5 stars.
