Decent processor have it in a mid range gaming pc delivers respectable performance for a dual core however struggles to play those larger games at a visually appealing rate.

Ideal CPU for an office PC with just Word/Excel and a bit of Web surfing.
I used the stock CPU cooler on an Asus H81M-E Motherboard.

4.0 out of 5 stars the i3-4330 does indeed perform a lot better in games such as Battlefield 3 and 4, 8 Sept. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Intel 1150 i3-4330 Core i3 Box Dual-Core Haswell CPU (3.50GHz, 4MB Cache, 54W, Socket 1150) (Personal Computers)
I bought this CPU for a new gaming PC as an upgrade from an Athlon 750K. Now in all honesty, the i3-4330 does indeed perform a lot better in games such as Battlefield 3 and 4, however during multi-tasking such as extracting zip files whilst installing something, it really does slow down to a halt, this is not what I wanted and this is a massive problem with Pentium and i3 CPUs, they can't do much at once. Surely, BF4 can be hugely CPU intensive and it copes just fine at max settings with my Radeon R9 270X however once you do more than a game, or more than few extraction processes, it really doesn't do well.

I haven't really tried the intergrated graphics however I have heard that they're great for streaming at 1080p, using Intel Quick-sync when recording gameplay and troubleshooting your graphics card. It comes with Intel HD graphics 4600 which is great and worth paying for over the 4130,4150 etc with Intel HD 4400.

The extra 1mb cache also does help out.

Therefore I'd say this CPU particularly offers the best price/ performance ratio. It offers more cache and a better iGPU compared to the 41** series CPUs.

5.0 out of 5 stars Capable, well priced, 9 April 2015

This review is from: Intel 1150 i3-4330 Core i3 Box Dual-Core Haswell CPU (3.50GHz, 4MB Cache, 54W, Socket 1150) (Personal Computers)
Wanted to build a custom PC and this was the most practical to run it 3.50Ghz dual core 4 threads. Retail Boxed with Manuals and Stock Cooler(unused)I expected to have high temps so I got an Arctic Freezer 7 Rev2 to cool it instead. Item arrived as expected. Not really expecting to use it heavily but it's so far holding its own. Recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great processor, good value for money, 11 April 2014

It is a great processor for the price. I have it in a mid - range gaming rig with a mid range graphics card, and most game work a treat. It is also great with handling basic things like word processing as well, and my computer very rarely lags.

Great processor, highly recommended.
