Having recently seen these guys live opening the main stage at Damnation Festival, I took upon their call to arms and rushed to buy the album, and just like the live act this album does not disappoint. In places it reminds me of Iron Maiden and Judas Priest at their catchiest, heaviest best, with not many nods to the members previous or affiliated bands. This is simply all guns no nonsense does exactly what it says on the tin blazing metal. Stand out track has to be opener 'Destiny Forged in Blood' which will have you singing along by the second chorus, and as the album and song title suggest this is a 'Fire on the Mountain' well worth taking note of! Not bad at all for a band that started life as a Bathory cover band before ending up writing their own music.
