This is a most interesting compilation featuring as it does some rarely heard recordings 2 of which are worth the price of the CD alone. I have only ever heard sheiks Buxton singing Shakedown on the crime film soundtrack and was totally unaware of Its existence as a commercial recording. The other number also from a film is Piccadilly Third Stop and performed by the Eric Winstone orchestra. These Fabulous Voyage compilations are a most welcome addition to the public domain releases.

The best compilation I've listened to, Martin Green has collected some absolute cracking tunes from well known to some rarities like 'Sex' by Shirley Bassey. I definitely recommend this album, can't wait for another to be made!

Superb selection of sleazy, sultry sounds. Well worth the price for this thoughtfully put together collection of tracks. Wonderful!

Yet another installment from the ”Bob Stanley collects forgotten gems from the early 60’s” series. The sound quality is good and the songs are of decent quality. Pleasant background music for lazy nostalgic afternoons.

To quote a Swedish radio DJ: “Is it nostalgia if you never have heard the songs before?”

Some very good tracks on this disc - but equally a number of very disappointing. Probably best of all of them are the two rare John Barry titles.

Really great. Brings back memories, Earls Court Motor Show, Soho and my cousin's restaurant where all the 'in-crowd' dined. Wow!
