Solid platformed but could've have been so much more
on 17 January 2015
Plays like old Nintendo and Sega platformers, the game itself has that frustrating feel to it. Mordecai and Rugby are sucked into an old console and must play through levels finding a way to escape.
Graphically, the game is actually nice to look at (especially if you like retro) and the colours are bold and the music feels right.
What I am disappointed in with the game is the lack of gameplay on offer, it could've offered so much more considering the amount of old classics to draw inspiration from. The platform levels themselves are good to play through and the fact that M and R die after one hit brings up the difficulty factor adding that extra bit of juice to the gameplay. I still can't help but feel this couldve been so much more. Who would I recommend this to? Hardcore Regular Show viewers and retro game fans (and My! Mom!!) would like this.
