4.0 out of 5 stars Good author
I read Hannah and enjoyed it so thought I would read something else by this author that I hadn't heard of before so I would recommend to others.

After being widowed on her honeymoon Kristin finds life closing in on her, struggling to carry on without her husband she throws a dart at a map and finds herself in Chester Hills Wyoming there she meets Ty a handsome, rugged but rough around the edges kind of guy.
She's still grieving and only staying for one year, she's from New Jersey and not his type at all so will anything come from this attraction they feel.
I liked this book it was a nice simple romantic story, what I didn't like were Kristin's constant mood swings the way she could love and hate things at almost the same time, at times she reminded me more of a spoilt child which may sound harsh considering what she's been through but I felt she was almost schizophrenic at times. This said it's still an enjoyable quick gentle read.

Good story. Good characters but nothing to shout about
Time was skipped during the story which spoiled it for me

Kristen's husband has a fatal accident on their honeymoon and Kristen understandably can't get back into living her life so she decides to move from New Jersey to a small town in Wyoming for a year to get away from everything. In her new spot, she meets Ty, a rural veterinarian. They get off to a really bad start and don't like each other, but then things change and they want to spend time together and get to know each other.

I enjoyed this light romance but had a hard time accepting how a city girl and country boy could click. I was very surprised that there was no sex in this book and thought this made the relationship a bit unbelievable. The character development is pretty good, especially for Ty but I didn't connect with Kristen.

Such a great story. Slow to ignite but worth the effort. Kinda old fashioned but sweet with it. Liked it..
