4.0 out of 5 stars enjoyable romp through the traditions of a Tudor Christmas
This is a jolly little book, giving a quite well-researched insight into the customs of a Royal Tudor Christmas. As usual, ER I has to solve mysteries which involve high explosives and her dressing up as a boy.

1.0 out of 5 stars very, very silly
One of the silliest historical crime novels I've ever read. The author's research may be good but the story is the equivalent of the Hollywood Pride and Prejudice films - jaw-droppingly unrealistic and gratingly American in parts.
