This is a hugely refreshing and practical book, written in an enviably accessible style, with loads of examples and templates to help business-to-business (B2B) marketing and sales people to achieve great results and long-term success.

Too often, B2B marketing and selling gets treated like the dull country cousin of its rakish metropolitan business-to-consumer (B2C) counterpart. It's a situation that is neither fair nor productive. In reality, B2B presents marketers and sales people with some of the most stimulating challenges around, with opportunities for tremendous innovation and reward. B2B and professional services enterprises of all kinds and sizes are vital for the success of our economies. Like gold in a mother-lode they provide and support the innovation upon which all of our futures depend. However, they can find that their ability to contribute is undervalued and, particularly when selling clever things to big companies, it's all too easy for their profitability to get minced in the procurement grinder.
