Love the Black Spiders and this album sums them up with 10 tracks of full on riffs, with enough changes of tempo to break it up. Real stripped down rock but catchy with it and tightly played as always. Continues in the same vain as "Sons of the North" but is, if anything is harder and more uncompromising. Stand out tracks on the first few listens are "Balls" and "Teenage Knife Gangs" but there is not a duff track. They are well worth catching live or check them out on You Tube and if they are your sort of thing then buy this album, you won't regret it!

I have been following the band for a while now and have been waiting on this release for quite some time. Well, quite simply, it was well worth the wait.
A brilliant album that I cannot stop listening to. Its in the car, on my iPod, my phone.

Well, to keep it short - awesome , heavy , riff-laden, rock with power, attitude, melody, power and angst. Better than their 1st ? Quite possibly. Terrific album !

I have been waiting a very long time to find a band worthy of succeeding the mighty Motörhead and I think the Black Spiders are it.
There are lots of bands who might attempt to say that, or may have attempted to be that, but Black Spiders are the real deal having everything that has made MH amazing over the years...it is heavy, hook-laden, fast and loud, British rock and roll.
This sort of music can so easily become dull and one-dimensional with the same old tired riffs again and again but Black Spiders have a nice combo of slightly bluesy stoner rock(?) and good old fashion heavy drinking rock and roll.
If you are thinking of giving them a try get this record first as it is a good place to start (if you listen to and love 'Balls' don't hesitate to get this) but you will not be even slightly disappointed by the first album if you chose that instead.
I hope they do a massive UK tour soon.
