At the current price of under 4GBP this cable is good VFM. This works flawlessly with my laptop to portable TV.
Generally, you get what you pay for and to a certain extent you do with cables carrying digital signals, but mostly in terms of build quality and longevity when the cables are handled frequently. If a cable is occasionally used or kept plugged in, then something like this cable will do as good as a 50GBP 24kt gold-plated, silicone coated cable and you won't be able to tell the difference. In the analogue signal days where a loss of signal meant a loss of picture quality it paid to splash out on a good cable. With digital signals the picture quality is a stream of data being represented by 1 or 0 and as long as the receiving device picks up 1 or 0 it will duplicate it exactly as it was when it left your device regardless of strength.
If you are going to be plugging this cable it in and out on a regular basis, winding it around your hand and stuffing it into a case every time you have finished with it, then you may be better of looking for a sturdier cable. If you are going to be leaving it in situ, then this will do you well and save you money.
