This is a perfect album. The interplay between the three musicians transcends the trio to conjour up beautiful images of an African journey, people, places, landscape are all contained within the soundscape. Sclavis is lyrical, Texier solid and warm & Romano sensitive yet constantly present. His drum solo track using brushes, 'Impala' is evocative and beautiful. I recommend this album to anyone with ears! Garry Corbett.
