5.0 out of 5 stars Great fun
Don't go expecting oscar winning acting, because it's not what you'll get.
This is a budget film made for laughs, parts might make you cringe but all in all the boys had fun making it and it is a must to put in your Quo collection.

The soundtrack is great, with some great tracks that would definately not be accotiated with Quo. There is Samba, Reggae,...

3.0 out of 5 stars One for the Quo fans
Maybe 3 stars is a bit generous. The plot is silly. The band play themselves in a fictional story involving gangsters. in Fiji. It is probably just as well that it is meant to be a comedy because it could never be taken seriously, and the acting isn't that great, but the music is good and it is quite entertaining.

If you like Status Quo then you will enjoy it,...

4.0 out of 5 stars It's Entertaining, 17 Aug. 2013
This review is from: Bula Quo! [Blu-ray] (Blu-ray)
I saw this movie at my local cinema back in July and it's a good film but could have been better by that I mean there's a couple of things that wasn't very well explained in the movie but it was still fun to watch hopefully if the DVD & Blu-Ray has deleted scenes as special features it might shed some light on the things I was scratching my head at plus there's a few funny things in the movie nothing really big belly tickle but still funny nevertheless.
To be honest it shouldn't have been called Status Quo in Bula Quo! because the story is focused on Francis Rossi and Rick Parfitt with cameo's from the other 3 members (Andy Bown, John 'Rhino' Edwards and former member Matt Letley), Status Quo is a 5 piece band therefore all 5 members should be leading actors you don't see The Beatles in A Hard Day's Night just focus on John Lennon and Paul McCartney or The Monkees in Head just focus on Davy Jones and Micky Dolenz.
For non die-hard fans of Quo who want to buy this movie for instance if your a fan of Craig Fairbrass, Jon Lovitz or Laura Aikman and you see reviews on here saying this movie is utter utter rubbish, it belongs in a bargain bin bla bla bla! just ignore it because their so called "hardcore" Quo fans that think making this movie is another nail in the coffin just like the Australian TV adverts the band are doing for Coles, at the end of the day it's a bit of fun and it's family friendly so sit back and enjoy.
