I purchased this book without really knowing much about it and was pleasantly surprised at how absorbed I was in the story from the start. Really enjoyed the development of the characters and found the backdrop of sunny Spain a delightful escape from the humdrum routine. Convinced my mother to read it as well and we both agree that it would be hard not to appreciate the simple pleasure of this big-hearted novel.

This is a beautiful book, it really made my imagination wonder and reminded me of lovely holidays in Spain. Sun, sea, sangria, oh my! I would recommend it to anyone that likes a good lighthearted read.

Then everything was rushed and its like the author got fed up and thought 'I can't be bothered'. It was such a shame because up til the last few pages the book was good, not the greatest admittedly but not bad. I did like the suspense side of the book and the romance was ok, however I never really clicked with the male lead, Freddie. He just seemed smarmy to me and not a very strong character. Overall I'd say this book is good for a beach read when you just want some undemanding fluff to lose an hour in. Don't expect too much from it.

A really lovely novel which had me gripped fromt he off. Dee is a realistic character and you want the best for her. Very much recommended for the beach!

Well-paced plot suspended on well-drawn characters with all the classic ingredients for a fine romance. Definitely worth a read this fine summer.

I really enjoyed this summer romance, and the suspense makes it a more gripping read than the romance alone. It made me want to move to Spain, and it's truly a very enjoyable read. Dee (the heroine) is a convincing and interesting character. As it says on the cover, "Holiday Romance" is a perfect beach read.

Required absolutely no effort whatsoever but was rather too incredible in places. The main plot and the job of the travel rep were very superficial and certainly a somewhat 'romantic' interpretation. Ideal if you want no violence and a strong dose of escapism.

A very enjoyable book some twists and turns . You could understand Dee not trusting Freddie but I felt she should have read text and listened to the voice mail but then who's to say we or I would have done that giving the circumstances .

A lovely holiday read. Romance with intrigue. Perfect for a deckchair in the sunshine. Strong, three-dimensional characters kept me involved throughout.
