I love it.

My SW2 seems to be put together very well. My phone is an HTC One with NFC so connecting is a doddle. With the phone unlocked I touch the back of the watch (which is not switched on) and it powers up instantly and is up and running before I can put it on my wrist. First time your phone will tell you what to do and it is all very simple. I use the watch apps for gmail, text messages and phone calls and they work splendidly so I no longer miss stuff if my phone is not immediately to hand or I've got the volume turned too low.
I have tried a handful of music players and have settled on "SmartMote". This app lets you decide on taps or swipes and is very responsive - much quicker than the others that I tried. It is just wonderful to adjust volume, pause or change tracks without having to take the phone out of your pocket. I can't tell you how convenient that is.
Having a calendar on the watch is also such an advantage. I actually have two of them on my watch. Each displays information in a different way so I choose one or the other depending on what I want to know.
I have found the extension to Google maps to work very well and I would recommend "Smartwatch Shoppin List".
But a word or two of caution. There is a promotional video on Youtube which shows a Sony product manager flicking her wrist to activate the screen. This feature has been withdrawn. I expect it's because of their collaboration with Runtastic. After all, the screen would be on full blast at all times as you were running and that would drain the battery in no time at all. Also, although there are indeed some 300 or more apps for the watch, it's just the same as the app market as a whole - some are great, some are not so good and some are downright useless. I paid for two apps with some very cool chronograph-style watchfaces but have had to delete them. They made the watch freeze or just do other very wierd things and depleted the battery in no time at all. (without this app I get a good tree days off one charge).
If you use the shopping list app you need a shopping list on your phone that will let you export the list direct to the watch. Some will only allow you to share via email or text which is no good. I use "Out of Milk" which is excellent and works a treat.
I decided at the start that I did not want a watch to take over completely from my phone, so not having a speaker or mic is no problem for me. I can't tell you how good it is to use this watch. My Sony Smartwatch 2 has brought a level of convenience to my life that is so much better than I had anticipated. I consider this watch to be well worth the money and would recommend it.
Oh yes...one more app I have is "Remote fart". Yes it does what it says on the tin. My small grandson and I had such a laugh with it the other day. His mother and my wife think I should grow up, of course, but what else are grandads for ?
