5.0 out of 5 stars Wow
I have never researched an iron before, thinking that they were just a necessary evil and all the same. Nor have I ever spent so much. BUT this iron really does do what it "says on the tin". lightweight, easy to use, glides over fabric effortlessly, large water tank, long cable, oh and it looks good! 3.0 out of 5 stars Irons reasonably well. A little plasticky and the box is of limited use.
The iron functions well.
However it feels very plasticky and cheap. The lid on the water dispenser looks as though it would snap off quite easily.
I am unsure what the point of the box is. It states that the iron can be put in it straight away. However the heat of the iron travels through the box so the box is too hot to put down anywhere and would be dangerous...

5.0 out of 5 stars Great iron!, 15 April 2014
This review is from: Philips GC4860/25 Azur Steam Iron with Safety Auto Off and Heat Resistant Storage Box, 350 ml, 2600 Watt - Multi-Coloured (Kitchen & Home)
Great iron would really recommend. Steam boost removes creases with ease and the soleplate glides freely across all fabrics. The heatproof box is handy for storing quickly after use and very impressed with the safety shut off feature.

5.0 out of 5 stars No fuss, 8 April 2014
This review is from: Philips GC4860/25 Azur Steam Iron with Safety Auto Off and Heat Resistant Storage Box, 350 ml, 2600 Watt - Multi-Coloured (Kitchen & Home)
Don't usually write reviews but this is a really good iron. My clothes sit in the ironing basket for a while, which means tuff creases. This iron get through them with any fuss, like they've just come off the line. Also love the fact I don't have to wait for it to cool down before putting it away.

Cute box. Open . And start ironing. Quick heat up time... Glides smoothly and easy movement.. Loved how light it was and steams much better than my ex iron. Highly recommend this for a medium size household.

I use it mainly to iron my husband' pile of shirts and it works perfectly. Not that heavy but really strong steam for perfect look laundry. I have been used philips irons for a very long period and that one don't disappoint me either.

Starting from visuals - the Steam Iron looks great. It also comes with colorful storage box which is quite handy. I do not know much about Iron's performance, but my Wife say's it's great. It runs smooth and the steam really helps her with my shirts. Price isn't lowest on market, but it certainly isn't highest too. It's more like avarage but it's worth every penny.

A very nice iron looks good and irons very nice
a little bit heavy to pick up but makes less pressing
on the clothes when you iron a goo buy.
