I bought this game when it was released a few years back on dvd. Unfortunately, after so many years, my dvdrom finds it impossible to read, so I bought digital copy of the game from amazon. Download went smoothly, as well as installation, had some problems with activation key (you have to download Uplay from Ubisoft in order to play and apparently activate it there). After an hour of unsuccessful attempts, finally I've managed to play the game. I found out that you don't need to activate it on Uplay at all. Just download Tages drivers for 64 bit system (Win 7 64 bit) and it should do the trick. The game itself is still good, the graphic is all right and you can still have a lot of fun playing it.

I just bought this game off of Amazon and to my surprise, the activation key is invalid! I've just emailed Amazon but don't expect a response from this useless lot. A similar thing happened to me when I bought Assassin's Creed II (at the same time) from Amazon. While I was able to redeem the code, the "deluxe edition" turned out to be a "standard edition". Avoid at all costs.

This game uses Tages DRM which is pretty much a virus by DRM standards. Its nearly impossible to remove. I'm ok with using uPlay which in itself is a form of DRM, but Tages is a completely different story. It's been known to destroy DVD drives with badly optimized drivers. Also keep in mind that Tages restricts installs, so if you remove and reinstall the game (usually more than 3 times) the game becomes null and void.
Just giving people as much information as possible to make an informed decision about this game and its so called 'protection'.
