i throughly enjoyed this book, it is well written, engaging and although it doesnt take the same general direction as the others quite as heavily as i initially expected it is a great read and i cannot wait for the next in the series.

Absolutely fantastic book, having read all of the previous books in the series from this author it continued to be brilliant and true to the story. I would highly recommend Oliver Bowden to any assassins creed fan, and even to those who have not played the games. Books you just can't put down, looking forward to unity.

I have posted here because I couldn't post on the Oliver Bowden forum - I don't know why but Amazon don't seem to have a connection with the page - that's the gist of the explanation I got anyway!

I have read all of the novels in the series so far and I have ordered the latest which is "Unity".

They are all very good but seem a little abbreviated from the original game storyline.

They loosely follow the story line in the games but for the Desmond/Animus side of the tale which doesn't seem to get a mention.

"Forsaken" seemed to deviate more than the others.

Understandably, there is a lot of content to the games that cannot be covered. I am expecting the movie, (which is allegedly starring Michael Fasbender), to similarly skim over much of the tale too!

There is one thing I would like to query: Is there going to be a novel covering Rogue? This is a sort of a backtrack game which is being released on PS3, whilst the Unity game is being promoted on the later consoles.

If there is I would like to read it!

Like all Assassin books I found this book no disappointment.
The book was a different slant on the story compared to the rest. I enjoyed the journey with the main character as he matured or was forced to mature quickly. I did feel at times though that some of his assistants in the story so to speak could have stayed longer in the story, but seem to have a surprisingly short part of the play. At times I felt that he was rushing through the adventure and that other parts that you were hoping for a good read were over in a flash catching you off guard. Not as bloodthirsty as some of the books but one would suppose his character was learning the trade in the story and at the end left you thinking that there was another book to follow him as he takes up another life in London, let's hope .
As I say another good book by Oliver Bowden ;-))

This book is by far the most different from the rest, the least 'assassiny'. It more surrounds the pirate life than that of the assassin.

Worst book yet, and still a great read. Would still recommend!

Not sure it deserves the name assassins creed because the story would have worked without the assassins as they had so little to do with the book. A good story but nothing to do with assassins.

I am an A.C. Fan, have played all the games and read all the books that accompany the games. This is another great companion to the series.
