Be aware that this is a very short story - only 54% of the download, the rest being an extract from 'Demonsouled'. The tale is simple, and, while mildly entertaining, is by no means particularly original, and nowhere near the standard of the author's other work. It is, however, disappointingly littered with proof-reading errors. While I feel that 'a paunch held only in check by' has 'only' in the wrong place in the sentence, that is personal opinion; the failure to correct 'one' for 'on'; 'they' for 'the'; sighed' for 'signed'; 'posion' for 'poison', together with the occasional missing word and poor grammar - 'None of them (those) men' - are errors which smack of carelessness or utter indifference. This tale may never have been intended as a great piece of literature, but, if the author has any pride in his work, he should at least be accurate in what he is producing. It may only cost 73p, but that's no reason for shoddy work. Disappointingly, it feels as if the author has thought he could do with a quick cash boost, and has scribbled this off without any real effort. If that's not the case, and you did expend a great deal of time and energy on its creation, Mr Moeller, I can only apologise!
