I bought this blind and have been blown away by it. Superb animation style and the story gets darker as the characters develop. My wife hates it, she says its not for girls...I wouldn't know and Im happy watching it on my own.

It's great to see Lupin 3rd in the UK, and not just in the feature films like Castle of Cagliostoro and Secret of Mamo. This series aired in Japan in 2012 and returns us to Lupin's early years as we discover the story behind him and Fujiko Mine. A great series in the spirit and style of the original. Good for new and old fans alike.

This is the most feminist-positive anime to come around in years.
It was written by a woman (Mari Okada), she sculpts a crass, disturbed, and licentious version of Fujiko. At first glance you wouldn't be able to tell this. Yes Fujiko is constantly naked but if you actually watch to the end it has a feminist message about how women shouldn't be judged or shamed for having casual sex. A very dark and welcomed addition to the Lupin the 3rd franchise.

This was a surprisingly good series. The artwork goes back to it's roots looking much like the original manga and was just as dark humor if not more. Where most of the other series had the majority of episodes stand alone with little continuity, events throughout this one link up to a climax at the end with quite the twist.

The subtitling was a bit wonky at times, but not so bad that you couldn't follow what they were meaning, like referencing the white house oblong room which obviously was the Oval Office.

If anything I hope they do more in this style with a new story arc as it is an interesting change of pace.

Im so disappointet, they made out of this Wonderful Franchise a Soft-Porno!!!! I hate this new Serie and perfer to watch "Caliostro" over and over again!!!!! By the Way im not against Erotics in an Anime (The Legend of the Overfiend) but what they do with an already existing and very populare Franchise is a crime :-((((((

Good story, humour and action just let down by cheap looking shading that grates after a few episodes.
