Purchased this product for an elderly relative. She was very pleased with the book and would recommend it to anyone interested in that period.

I haven't finished reading this yet, but it is a page turner. I am enjoying the way the characters interlink and how differing wartime experiences affected people. I hope to finish the book by tomorrow. I shall look out for the author again.

Good book. Really takes you back to life in the forties and during the war.

Very enjoyable book but would of liked a follow up to see the characters through the war. Well written transporting you there.

Another excellent book from Molly Lefebure, perhaps better known as secretary Professor Keith Simpson.
A fictional gem from this accomplished writer.

take on, you only find out it is the same book written by a man who in the first place wrote it not the advertised author
