It's sharp at the high end and super deep at the low. Very good recording. Chino does what he does best , crafting beautiful melody that goes well with atmospheric rock music.

Chino and the Isis crew know how to deliver an aural experience supreme!
Brooding at times, always atmospheric, this album will definitely fulfill the expectation of everyone looking for a slightly calmer rock music, but with the signature vocals of Chino Moreno and melodic styling from the ex-Isis crew the album comes together as a solid piece growing on you with each time you listen to it!

This Band is formed by Chino Moreno from deftones and the Isis band members. For me this combination works beautifully. If you are a fan of Deftones this is a must to have album!

Great Album. Chino's voice in coherence with Isis instrumental play is awesome!!!! Check out if you're a fan of either Deftones or Isis :):)

I love this! It's really laid back, expansive and more etherial than Chino's Deftones but certainly worthy of a place on anyones stereo!

Being more of an Isis fan than Deftones, this album definitely feels like an Isis album with all the best Deftones influences added in. Absolutely and album to check out if you're a fan of either band (or even just looking for new music)

Just as with his other side project crosses chino Moreno from the legendary deftones proves his range and versatility by producing another five star album. Take a listen, you'll be pleasantly surprised

Exactly what I'd expect if I put Isis and Deftones together, but since I like both of these bands this is not a bad thing. Can't wait to see where this project goes!

Probably everyone reading the reviews knows the background to this band. In theory it's a great match up, and in practice they've produced a strong album here. However, it never quite matches the heights of the respective constituent bands -- although one would possibly be naive to ever think it could have done so. There's some stand out material on here, but the album as a whole took a while to grow on me.
