The book gives a reasonable potted history of Goebbel's life and career before and during the Third Reich and highlights some of the more important areas he was involved in. However, there is really no depth to this book - I am scarcely clearer about his motivations than I was before I read it. There is little used in the way of quotes, no contemporary accounts and the conclusion is amateurish (even if you happen to agree with it). Avoid and look for something better.
