4.0 out of 5 stars Very good, 18 Mar. 2014

Haven't finished it yet. But so far- so very good. Sexy and severe enough without being sadistic. Some of the stories you can buy from this site on this topic are, for me, too harsh. Then it becomes a turn-off. If you like this book try those by Louise Weston, T. C Stonefox and Fiona Locke. Tom Simple's stuff lacks emotional input and just turns into a recital of punishments. Annie Bee is for those who like their spanking very severe indeed. Again try one and make up your own mind

5.0 out of 5 stars A wolloping good read!, 9 Aug. 2013

I can thoroughly recommend this tale...and would hope that SM Thomas might be encouraged to write a sequel. Cleanly written with an eye to detail...it never offends. A sergeant such as depicted here should have been a must for all good schools. What a lovely occupation he had!

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent, 1 Nov. 2014
This review is from: Saint Breaca's College (Kindle Edition)
I loved this book set in the 1930s. It is incredibly plausible, very sexy and yes there is corporal punishment but the author gets it just right; neither stupidly soft nor terribly harsh. All the characters are sympathetic and I just couldn't stop reading. One reviewer asks about a sequel but I know that CF publications originally published one which I have read. It just picks up exactly where this one leaves off and takes the story further. The sequel is called 'Caroline Campbell-Baines'. In my opinion it is better than this and that's saying something. Bethany Burke please note. I believe this author now writes for LSF under the name Susan Thomas

5.0 out of 5 stars I enjoyed writing this story for which I did a lot ..., 27 Nov. 2014
This review is from: Saint Breaca's College (Kindle Edition)
Actually this is my story. I wrote it for CF Publications years ago and sadly sold the copyright. I'm not sure what Bethany Burke did to warrant her name on it...I certainly haven't had anything to do with her. Whoever she may be she didn't have the wit to realise there is indeed a sequel entitled "Caroline Campbell" again published originally by CF Publications. I now write for LSF Publications under the name Susan Thomas. I enjoyed writing this story for which I did a lot of research on costumes, customs and teacher training colleges as they were at the time.
