This review is from: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Enter Shredder [DVD] (DVD)
Monkey Brains - Donatello and April investigate disappearance of a scientist named Dr. Rockwell, but discover a conspiracy regarding a bizarre psychic monkey upon learning about the experiment from Dr. Falco when Dr. Rockwell was approached by the Kraang in human disguises. April and the Turtles soon learn that their is more to the chimpanzee that meets their eye. - It is a great episode, very action packed and awesome. The only bad thing is the turtles are not very supportive when Donnie is beaten up by a giant monkey in front of April. I know they are brothers but that was harsh. But I like when Donnie has a plan to ask April out on a date. I give this episode 4/5

Never Say Xever - Following a fight with the Purple Dragons at a noodle shop, Leo fears his act of mercy has come back to haunt him when Xever, the Purple Dragons, and the Foot Ninjas hold the blind local noodle shop owner, Mr. Murakami, hostage. - It is an alright episode. It's funny and action packed. It is the funniest episode in the whole series so far. I give this episode 4/5

The Gauntlet - After April receives a warning from her imprisoned father which arrived on a pigeon, she and the Turtles embark on a mission to save him and stop the Kraang from detonating a mutagen bomb in the city. Meanwhile, the Shredder makes his move on the Ninja Turtles and an accident at the Kraang’s hideout transforms Chris Bradford into Dogpound and Xever into Fishface. - this is a fantastic episode. There is so much going on. It's a really fun episode. One of my favourites. The bit where the turtles fight the shredder is awesome. Great episode. I give it 5/5

Panic In The Sewers - The Turtles must defend their home in the sewers when Dogpound tries to destroy it with a dangerous chemical. - This is a good episode. There is a very simple episode but it doesn't mean it is bad. I give it 3/5

Mousers Attack! - When simultaneous threats from the Purple Dragons and Baxter Stockman’s mechanical M.O.U.S.E.R.s (short for Mobile Offensive Underground Search Excavation and Retrieval Sentries) force the Turtles to split into two groups, Donnie & Mikey must prove that their “B Team” is just as valuable as Leo & Raph’s “A Team.” But when both villainous forces team up with Dogpound, can the “A Team” save the “B Team” in time? Or will they be Mouser chow? - this is a good episode. I couldn't believe that they put the mousers in it. It is a funny episode. I give it 5/5

It Came From The Depths - Michelangelo befriends a mutant alligator named Leatherhead who possesses a strange piece of Kraang technology. - It is a great episode. There is lots of action and awesomeness. I give it 5/5

New Girl In Town - Tired of Raphael’s constant criticism while trying to stop Snakeweed’s people abduction plot, Leonardo lets him try his hand at leadership. Leonardo meets a female Foot Ninja named Karai who tries to lure him to the dark side. - OMG, this a awesome episode. Good story and great action. I give it 4/5

Overall: this DVD is not one to miss. Turtle fans will love it. It's a must have. 5/5

This has been a great series so far im enjoying it, loved the turtles since the 2003 series. The animation is brill and the voice acting fits the characters well.
The episodes that include in the dvd are:
.Monkey Brains 4/5
.Never say xever 5/5
.the guntlet 5/5
.Panic in the sewers 5/5
.mousers attack 4/5
.It came from the depths 4/5
.New girl in town 5/5
In this vol we meet new characters like leather head and Kari also xever and bradford get mutated into Fishface and Dogpound, the mousers are also introduced but a little different to the way they were in the 2003 series.
All the eps are really good action packed fighting agisnt the kraang and the foot.
And in the Guntlet we see the turtles fight against the Shredder for the first time.
Each episode is full of loads of humor kid humor and adult'ish humor for example master splinters moments has some good but dry humor that some kids may not get but older people will.

5.0 out of 5 stars Must see for kids... old and young, 27 Aug 2013

My son has got into TMNT in a big way and was desperate for this. I was a bit too old for the original version, so wasn't too fussed about watching this with him, but it's BRILLIANT! The humour is really well measured and strangely dry for a kids' show, there's a cracking mix of action and story-line (it's not Usual Suspects, but you get the idea), the animation feels really fresh... I could go on. If you have kids, buy it for them (you'll know what age-restrictions are right for you, but my 3 year old daughter loves this too). If you don't have kids but never really grew up fully, then treat yourself.

What can I say, I bought this for my 4 year old who is mad about the turtles and was not disappointed. Great story. The character although funny do not have the same magic as the original ones but even so, very enjoyable.
