WATCH YOUR MOUTH
GEMS FROM THE WARNER BROTHERS VAULTS contains 75 original tracks by the original artists over 3 CDs
All are now `Public Domain' being over 50 years old.
The price is simply stunning. But the track listing isn't very clear on Amazon and is `cramped together making it hard for the reader to see exactly whats on the Cds. So I've cleared it up a little.

Fell free to cut and paste but exclude the last track 26 on Cd 3 first!

I always have a moan of all the great music I missed during my teenage years , Radio Luxemburg would play them , in fact Warner Brothers , they did have their own label show for half an hour once a week . Go down to your local record shop and try to get a copy of some of the songs you had enjoyed ?The only W/B's you could find was to Everly Bro's . On one occasion , a copy of Bob Luman Lets Think About Living , who? It is No 6 in the charts , no sorry we won't be stocking it .I now quite aware now of how some the record distributors worked , blocking some records , another payloya setup to which a blind eye was turned ?
Still all in the past now , and my moan over .
This album , another little gem from One Day Music , if your a collector , well of course , you got history at your finger tips . I love every track , from the one's of 208 days and one's I am hearing for the first time .sheer joy !
Must also thank Amazon on their prompt distribution of pre-release dates in getting c/d's on the doormat .

A lot of public domain offerings around but this one is certainly a standout. Anything with the Everlys and Bob Luman will be guaranteed but some nice forgotten classics here. Bill Doggett (very underrated) Joanie Summers (surprised me how much I liked her) and a lot of others make this a top-notch set. Got a hundred versions of Look For a Star now - still can't stand it!

Warner Brothers didn't have an awful lot of hits,I would have thought that that the Dorothy Provine hit from 1961 would have been included.
That is just a small gripe, otherwise it's a good collection and wll worth the money.

This takes me back to my teenage years when 45rpm records were all the rage. This album contains tunes I well remembered along with others. Back then it was very common for many singer/labels to produce cover versions of current songs so there are some track that I remeber that were sung by another artist. Great value for money though!

Very nice 3 CD set from One Day Music. 75 tracks all very much worth a listen. Contains the inevitable Everly Bros tracks but also some real gems which might have been missed first time round. The set of record label CD's is a must have for collectors of 50's & 60's music.

5.0 out of 5 stars First time round for many of these in the U K, 10 July 2013
This review is from: Watch Your Mouth: Gems From The Warner Bros. Vaults 1957-1962 (Audio CD)
The sleeve note on the One Day CDs only focuses on the obvious big names-many of the others they know nothing of.
The CD by Cathy Carroll-which is an import- has a sleeve note which shows a Billboard review scan proving that both versions of The Young Ones were reviewed on the same day-Cliff Richard on ABC Paramount and Cathy Carroll on WB.The writers Tepper & Bennett wrote for both American and U K artists like Cliff Richard whose film The Young Ones had been retitled in the States to Its Wonderful To Be Young.
Its very likely that the song was first made by Cathy Carroll and held back
Today virtually everything is known but another WB artist was Little Suzy-not on here-with a U K release which was yet another of Young Love-and there's never been any info
