2.0 out of 5 stars Can it get worse?
Everything about this record gives you a slightly nauseus feeling, from the name, to the cover, to quite simply everything. The music isn't halfbad, but it just not worth the embarrasment of somebody discovering this album on your shelf. Stay away.

This is their most famous album, from 1983. Heavy as JPriest and other bands of the sort; these guys take their anthemic, grinding sound seriously and make Scorpions sound like sissies. Some reviewers point out Udo's singing is AC DC-esque, and that's only partly true on some of the songs, esp. the hit single of the same name. But I personally think it has more to do with his register than anything else. Sure, at times you'll find similarities with Halford and others who influenced him too, but the music owes NOTHING to AC DC and has a style of their own. This album is a german and an all-times heavy metal classic. The recording, on the other hand, is not very good; guitars are a little low in the mix and it could have benefited from some more lower end oomph and a clearer upper end, so the remastered CD is the definitive way to go.Excellent anyway !!!
