What a Change from my Ancient Boxes of Plasters
on 1 August 2014
I use plasters so rarely, i'm still on boxes bought years ago. In June i had a stupid accident with a billhook and badly damaged three fingertips. This is when I found that non-adherent dressings were available. I was so pleased not to have to suffer the pain of removing those old fabric plasters every time I changed the dressing. These are very non-adherent with a bit of padding to protect from bumps, you can also cut them to whatever shape is best. They are flexible enough to drape over the wound so they don't fall of as you get the tape ready to hold them in place. I'd have preferred not to have hurt myself, but this has been the best experience I've ever had with wound care.
