I'm very impressed by Disney that this set came out as soon as it did. Hopefully sales will justify a third set release soon, but as for this set it's great. It has most of the episodes that remained from the first U.S. set and they managed to include all the episodes from the first disc of the 2nd U.S. set as well.

Well first of all the set once again has the same six languages as the last set; English, Danish, German, Italian, Norwegian and Swedish and there's no subtitles. The video quality is your typical standard TV broadcast masters used, so expect the episodes to look like they normally would.

As before the discs come in a standard keep case and come in grey discs and once again in what is now Disney tradition, there is no episode listing, so you're going to have to view the discs yourselves or see a written review like this one.

The episodes on each disc are as follows;

Disc 1.
1. A Bad Reflection On You: Part 1
2. A Bad Reflection On You: Part 2
3. On A Wing And A Bear
4. A Star Is Torn
5. The Bigger They Are, The Louder They Oink

Disc 2.
1. A Spy In The Ointment
2. The Balooest of The Bluebloods
3. A Baloo Switcheroo
4. Whistlestop Jackson, Legend
5. Double Or Nothing
6. Feminine Air

Disc 3.
1. Last Horizons
2. Flight of The Snow Duck
3. Save The Tiger
4. The Old Man and The Sea Duck
5. War of The Weirds

As I mentioned; this set does have a few of the remaining episodes from the first U.S. set that were not included on the first British set. Sadly however, the two missing episodes 'From Here To Machinery' and 'Vowel Play' are still missing. Now there's a third episode that they skipped that isn't on this set. In-between 'A Star Is Torn' and 'The Bigger They Are, The Louder They Oink', there's an episode called 'A Touch of Glass', sadly that episode has also been skipped over and now joins a list of missing episodes. Probably Disney is having trouble locating audio tracks in all six languages for the missing episodes, at least that's my personal theory.

Hopefully those missing episodes will turn up eventually, maybe on an upcoming third set release, but Disney has skipped episodes on other series such as Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers and DuckTales where each series has 7 missing episodes that are on DVD in the U.S. but not the U.K. or anywhere in Europe, though hopefully some day that problem too will be sorted out.

Overall this set is very good and you certainly get your money's worth for 16 episodes, fewer then what the U.S. sets had, but this way Disney in Europe makes more money out of this affordable releases by producing more of them. If you're a Talespin fan, then you owe it to yourself to buy this set, despite a few missing episodes, which hopefully one day should turn up.

For further adventures with Baloo, Kit and all their friends, defenately buy this set and show your support for further U.K. releases. ;)

Talespin is one of the most memorable cartoon series I remember.
It means a lot to me that they now are available on DVD. The only sad thing is that the collections could have contained some more episodes, but its still worth it!
