I used self hypnosis for the birth of my kids so I knew it worked for me. This said I approached this with a bit of trepidation as I have struggled with my weight since I was a teenager and seriously love food! This recording (the first week anyway, can't vouch for the rest yet) is full of good, common sense suggestions that we all know but .maybe sometimes choose to ignore or forget, and this just somehow brings it to the forefront of your mind. In a week, I have avoided all the bad eating habits I usually fall into, have found myself enjoying (yes, enjoying!) drinking water, being able to stop eating when I am full and actively not wanting to eat pudding or unhealthy snacks. So far I have lost 7lbs (in a week!!! Unheard of!!!)) and I look forward to stepping on the scales. Even on a day that I felt I hadn't lost, I still had. The most wonderful outcome for me is actually not the weight loss itself, it is the relaxation and cure of insomnia that I am enjoying the most. I feel full of energy now I have had a decent week's sleep. I would highly recommend this for anyone with an open mind and a wish to get rid of bad eating habits.
