Only 2 days in and I am beginning to seriously love this - been looking forward to buying this ever since Solid Ground played on Planetrock.

Tom Keife's vocals are all just pure gravel and bluesy-rock. Love Cinderella, love Rod Stewart, love the Quireboys, love the Black Crowes? Then you are going to love this massively.

Personally some of the slower tunes are a little dull, but when TK is growling along with hard-rocking guitars he is untouchable.

Buy it.

How the hell Cinderella never joined the giants of 80's metal beats me. They were never hair metal with the bluesey sound they had. Great music then, and Tom Keifer has continued the tradition here, more contempory sound, slightly rougher voice, but it doesnt affect the album much at all. Hopefully there will be a Cinderella album in the pipeline if this is anything to go by. Well worth buying

A cracking album that has been worth the wait. Can't stop playing it at the moment ! A hugely talented artist overlooked my the mainstream music industry, roll on the next Cinderella album!!

Read some awesome reviews on this CD, and I always held Tom Keifer in VERY high esteem, a fantastic vocalist and a great guitarist. However, I have played this a few times, and it doesn't hit you as hard as his work with Cinderella which is a pity as Tom has spent a LONG time writing and performing for this album.
That's NOT to say its a bad album, far from it, BUT listen to Long Cold Winter or Still Climbing to experience what Tom Keifer REALLY brings to the table.
I apologise in advance if this has brought Toms batting average down a few notches, he is STILL a talent to behold.

I have been a big fan of Tom and the bands for years and he's still great writer BUT having heard Tom singing with a "Normal" voice ie not high pitched like his usual stuff I personally would love to hear him sing more of the lower range vocals (check out acoustic rock cd on amazon to hear what i'm talking about)
I do know other people are not into Cinderella due to the high pitch vocals and when they heard the other style they loved it.
Anyway this album is great and would love a full acoustic/blues album Tom

pretty OK album. Didn't blow me away but nice background rocknroll, great playing and singing, but nothing as memorable or catchy as Cinderella at their best.
