Bought this replacement battery after long research.I have looked on ebay and there are hundreds of retailers with similarly priced batteries. However, lots of feedback is frankly worrying. So decided to buy via AMAZON, from ECP. BEST decision for a long time!!
Battery arrived within 48 hours, well packaged and in electromagnetic protective foil.
Accompanied with very useful manual explaining how to optimise battery life, and how to maintain best performance, which, I am sure most of us did not follow and which is why you are reading this and I am writing this review!!!
Once installed, when you go to control panel, select power plan and than Acer e-power management it will show your current battery state. The new one showed good condition and that it holds its charge well. Instantly, new battery lasted in excess of 2 hours and it is still going strong!!!
I am sure this battery is better than my original one,and with proper maintenance (charging and discharging cycles )as described in the manual, it will last well
All in all, Highly recommended purchase.
PS: I received 5200mAh battery which is higher capacity than 4400mAh that is advertised.Noticed, another reviewer said the same thing.Bonus!!

Bought to replace dying battery on an Aspire 5920. Unclippped the old one, put in this one and carried on seamlessly. Seems to have about three hours use time - at least on first charge. Very good value.

The item was delivered very quickly. It doesnt hold charge for more than 45 minutes no matter how many times I charge then discharge. Not impressed. But then again the price was good.

The product was delivered fairly quickly, however the battery still doesn't last long. But at least I can use my laptop without having to take then entire charger with me.

After cycling five times it gives an hour of full screen online tv. My original four year old battery still gives 50 minutes, so does not say a lot for this replacement.

There's a lot of confusion about whether or not the uk version of the Acer Aspire 6920 (or 6920G) should have an 11.1v battery, or a 14.8v battery. Both are advertised on Amazon as suitable for this laptop. Phone Acer uk and you won't get much help either. People are understandably worried about putting a 14.8v battery in a laptop that might be expecting 11.1v - thinking they might do some damage. You'll very soon get tired of researching on the internet for an answer.
So - with some electronics background, and from personal experience - here's my advice...

Look at the label on your charger. If it's in the region of 19v then a 11.1v battery put in this laptop won't survive many recharge cycles before it's next to useless.
If your charger/power supply is labelled as supplying in the region of 19v then don't worry about putting a 14.8v battery in. (The charger will be taking in AC mains and pumping a rectified dc voltage into your laptop. This won't be pure dc - the rectifiers in the charger will leave a little 'ripple' on the power going in - in layman's terms, although the charger is rated as 19v, the average dc going into your laptop is going to be around 14.8v... it certainly won't be anywhere near 11.1v - so don't worry, if your laptop is getting 14.8 -ish from the charger - then a 14.8v battery is the right choice)
At time of writing, Powergen do a 14.8v battery on Amazon for the Acer 6920 uk series - get that.

Put the new battery in - without the charger connected. Even from new it will have about half charge. Let the laptop battery run down naturally. Charge it to 100%, disconnect the charger, let the battery run down completely flat again. Do this about 4 times, to get maximum life out of the battery.

Battery very poor standard and won't hold a charge for long, having to buy another one from elsewhere that is up to the required job.

It was extremely easy to swap this battery which has given my 5 year old laptop new life. I noticed that this replacement had a greater mAh rating than the old one so I expected longer usage which has proved the case. You need to follow the charging instructions which tell you to run it dry and re-charge fully to get best results.
