I have read many many climate books. This one is just plain dumb and offensive. There is no tight science in it ( I got about 1/4 of the way it before I could stomach no more ) It gets lost in the bigot's view of scientific debate. The "lay" person will not fall for it and there are many many better books out there educating those who wish to learn more about the debate. "Denial" says it all. Trying to use a word that many associate with the acceptance of the mass murder of jews in the Holocaust as a sell-tag will backfire hugely I suspect.
This book is written by an australian ego-maniac with a few prozac-dosed followers with no background whatsoever in the science. I know absolutely nothing about many things, but I would not try and sell a book about those things I know nothing about , this "cartoon" character breaks new ground

Amongst the basic scientific errors of these zealots is their total lack of understanding of the basics of terrestrial glacial research, statistical trends towards temperature mamimum records and sea ice dynamics. They fail to understand ( or deliberately ignore ) basic senior school geography and maths and then stumble on to make ridiculous assumptions and statements.

First class book discussing the ridiculous extent to which Climate change deniers go to, their arguments (and how weak they are) and also the reasons behind climate change denial

Some of the reviews posted go a long way in proving the points Cook and Washington make

Completely enjoyed the book and felt like taking notes on basically every other page

This is a fabulous little book. It is just a shame that those who really need to read it will be sitting in their bedrooms trolling on Youtube or making their way through Amazon giving 'one star' reviews to anything that disagrees with their politics or business ethic.

It is a cliché to say this book is a 'must read'. But it is.

Very well put book. Sadly there are people who deny what is happening in our world as regard to environmental damage. The Ostrich with its head in the sand sums up skeptic's and deniers alike however, even the joe blogs of society who hope that the bad things that happen will go away.

Excellent book, refutes commonly used denial explanations with a huge amount of peer reviewed references
- exposes the true conspiracy at the heart of climate change.

...just take £15 outside and set fire to it. You'll be 15 quid down, but you won't have wasted time reading this garbage.

Look at the reviewer quotes: a veritable roll-call of frauds and carbon dioxide cargo cult loons. A book recommended by Gleick? Seriously? Just Google "gleick fraud" then ask yourself if you really want to read this book.

Buy this if you want your leftie warmist prejudices massaged. Don't buy if you have an opinion of your own and two brain cells to your name.

Its a one sided argument which assumes completely that Carbon Dioxide an emissive gas causes global warming.

Its says nothing of the overwhelming bullying which government agencies are using to silence dissent and enforce what can only be described as a highly zealoted religion.

Anyone who knows anything about Rocket Science, knows that when an object in space is emissive it maintains lower steady state temperautres than objects which are not emissive. Carbon dioxide is an emissive gas and therefore emits more energy out into space from the atmosphere and maintains lower steady state temperatures whilst doing so, than could oxygen or nitrogen.

Therefore it acts to reduce temperatures not increase them, which means that if temperatures are rising they are rising IN SPITE of carbon dioxide and not because of.

Conclusion, this book is a waste of time, dont bother, its just yet more alarmist diatribe, you've heard and read it all before.
