1.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic war story but poorly delivered for the kindle, 29 Dec 2013
This review is from: Charley's War Comic Part Three: 1st-14th July 1916 The Battle of the Somme: 31 (Charley's War Comics) (Kindle Edition)
Having grown up with the absolutely fantastic story telling of Pat Mills and artwork by Joe Colquhoun, in the Charley's War comic strip, I was eagerly looking forward to reading them again on the kindle. Imagine my disappointment when I found the right hand side of each page being 'clipped' off resulting in unfinished speech bubbles and illustrations.
This is truly a disappointment as you will find no finer anti-war commentary to ever grace the world of comics than that of Charley's War.
The publisher desperately needs to sort this out as it butchers a superb and unbelievably well-crafted piece of historical story telling.
