5.0 out of 5 stars Temme Fatale (A Vigilante Series Crime Thriller) by Claude Bouchard.
I just love the tales this author weaves, often several scenarios other than the main story..... lots of characters, so keeps the storyline intriguing and a real page turner. Nitty gritty I would class all his tales, especially this one based on human trafficking... Not normally my choice of reading, but as its Claude Bouchard, I know he also includes witty banter...

Found this one lacked a bit compared to the other books by this author. Normally Claude Bouchard books are UN put dependable, not this one.

Nitty gritty I would class all his tales, especially this one based on human trafficking... Not normally my choice of reading, but as its Claude Bouchard, I know he also includes witty banter between the main characters which helps lighten the read. There are 10 novels in this series, and I am now on bk 8..... Femme Fatale is book 7. Well worth the read, although I would recommend staring with book 1, Vigilante.... and working through, as the characters bond and grow. They start off in their late 20's and by book 7 are in their late 40's early 50's. I find the reads a real page turner, and once started I can't put them down.....

4.0 out of 5 stars Almost as good as the rest of the series., 7 May 2013

I have read all of the Vigilante series and although some are better than others, they are all well worth reading. This story is based around the character 'Lesley Robb', who joined the Team after her girlfriend was killed in a bank robbery.
She now has a new French girlfriend and goes to stay with her family in Paris, but before she arrives, Dominique and her sister are kidnapped from a night-club.
Dominique's father has many connections and he and Lesley look into the kidnapping and realise that getting the girls back will be beyond them alone, so John, Chris and the rest of the Team come to her aid. This story is one based around the trafficking of girls from Europe to Africa.
I do not want to give away what is a fast-paced, exciting story, but as is usual in these books, the good guys come out on top, even though there are tragedies on the way.
I enjoyed the book very much. Perhaps not quite as much as some of the previous books, and would have given it 4.5 stars if possible. If it was the only book in the series I'd read, it would have got 5 stars, but I know some of the books are just a bit better!
It is quite possible to read this book without having read any others of the Vigilante series, but it is so much better when you have read them, in particular, Vigilante and perhaps The Consultant.
