This is a great short story that feels more like a full length novel and is indeed good enough to be a full length book. Delaney must be very confident in his abilities to use a story this good as a kindle single. He's left me desperate for more. I've already ordered his next novel - The Keeper. Surely this guy's set for the top!

PC Sean Corrigan has a gift. He has an insight into how a criminal's mind works and can visualise a crime scene making it come alive. Under the guidance of DSI Charlie Brennan, who recognises his potential, Corrigan is instrumental in the investigation of a brutal serial rapist. A notable introduction to Luke Delaney's DI Corrigan novels and a superbly entertaining short story with no loose ends left dangling.

A small but perfectly formed short story which effectively introduces us to the fledgling career of the now DI Sean Corrigan, and marking the start of his extraordinary ability to truly enter the mind of a killer, despite the ridicule and suspicions of his colleagues. If you're not quite ready to commit to Cold Killing (Di Sean Corrigan 1)or The Keeper (Di Sean Corrigan 2), or likewise you are a fan of both, this is a nice little side dish to the full length novels...

An exciting tale which held my curiosity and interest through-out the all too short story. Looking forward to more from this author,

This is a great story that introduces us to the early career of PC Sean Corrigan. The book is short, but it grips from start to finish and having already read and thoroughly enjoyed Cold Killing, I can't wait to read more in the DI Corrigan series. Highly recommended. :)

As you read this short story you find this is based on a real event from the early 1990's. This is a good introduction to the main charachter Sean Corrigan. The extra chapter of the other novel was very much the same and gave more access to the world of Sean Corrigan.

This novella introduced D I Sean Corrigan, a bright young PC as he becomes involved in his first murder case. A likeable main character and a thrilling read. I have read quite a few of Luke Delaney's books and always look forward to the next offering.
