Yes, this really is a movie about Bigfoot.....
on 16 August 2015
I think some of the reviewers missed the point or just didn't stick around to the end. Yes, this is another 'found footage' film where three young people travel out to the wilderness in search of a Bigfoot, after getting a lead that a recent 911 call had reported a dog torn in two by a Bigfoot in the area. Of course, there is no cell phone coverage, and the trio are left alone when their guide gets jittery and runs off. And there are other things going on - the outdoors is not always a wonderfully peaceful place and there are other creatures out there that you need to be careful of. There is a lot of walking and arguing going on, and the 'F' word is used so much that it becomes very tiring. But this isn't a silly supernatural horror film and it does all come together in the end. The film is very short at less than 80 minutes. Be warned, there is a scene of sexual violence which many will find confronting.
