5.0 out of 5 stars Well designed, great picture
This TV has replaced my previous Panasonic 37" (TX-L37TU10B) TV. I have been a professional film and video cameraman for many years so picture quality is important to me (although I should emphasise I am using this TV for home not professional use). Although for the last two decades I have used Sony cameras, I now own a broadcast standard Panasonic video camera - in fact...

3.0 out of 5 stars Nice TV, but if you're going to use external speakers, read on...
My first impression of this TV was how heavy the box was, which I thought odd as the bezel around the screen is plastic - I'd read up on it before buying and had also seen it "in the flesh" so to speak beforehand. I think the reason for the weight is because the entire back of the TV is a pressed metal plate, which is unusual these days as everything seems to be plastic...

2.0 out of 5 stars Not great.......way overpriced, 9 Sept. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: (Discontinued by Manufacturer) (Electronics)
Action scenes are unwatchable. They 'ghost' right across the screen.
The internet connection is so slooooowwww that it's not worth bothering with.
It's supposed to be 1080P but I can only get 1080I.
Dissappointed? You bet.
No User manual - I need a book, not a website.

3.0 out of 5 stars A Step Back, 26 Dec. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I have been a fan of Panasonic since before they changed their name from National, but don't think much of this offering. As a TV it's OK, but far too many intrusive screen messages, and a remote that belongs in a museum. No wonder they are losing market share.

2.0 out of 5 stars Great as a TV but poor as a pc gaming monitor., 26 Jun. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
After reading some good reviews here on amazon, I bought this TV strictly for PC gaming to replace my older 32" Samsung HDTV. Picture quality is very good, cant say anything bad about it. But response time on it is just aweful. I have powerfull gaming PC (running on GTX680) and this TV was just not good for me. It felt like games are running in 30fps or less. So i decided to send it back and buy proper pc monitor.
So, if you want to use it as a pc monitor then stay away from this one. But if you looking for good not expensive tv this is really nice set.

1.0 out of 5 stars Very poor compared to models from other manufacturers, 4 Jan. 2014

Bought this in a sale. Fortunately, it turned out have a fault with the wifi card, so it went straight back.

Good bits:
* Good strong construction including stand

Bad bits:
* Poor picture quality, fuzzy & washed out even when adjusted
* Extremely poor sound quality, nasal and tinny, even after adjustment
* Tedious set up
* Don't buy it in white, obtrusive stand distracts from picture
* Remote will get dirty very quickly

Summary:
Thankfully was able to return this to the store as the wifi would not connect. Bought a Samsung instead. This is one of the worst Panasonic models I have ever seen. Since then I have heard that the Panasonic apps are pretty awful and only supports BBC iplayer for catchup TV.

Samsung that replaced it is much better all round.

Avoid!

1.0 out of 5 stars Very poor, 30 Dec. 2013
It must be me.Nearly all the reviews here praise the Panasonic but I thought the picture quality was very poor.Fuzzy picture, very poor contrast, motion blurring, wishy washy colours almost as though I'd left the screen protection film on.No amount of fiddling with various settings made much difference. This TV was bought to replace a cheapo 10 year old Beko and the Beko beats the Panasonic hands down.I bought the TV from a well known high street retailer, they took it back for refund without question. So I'm in the market for a new TV again.

2.0 out of 5 stars Only 50 hz on Sky HD, 18 Aug. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This TV only shows Sky content at 50 hz instead of 100 hz. This means that Sky HD content looks like normal free view.
