Having read "Voices in the Street" I was so eager to "Teatime Tales from Dundee". However, it just doesn't quite recapture the wonder and spirit of the previous book.
The book consists of short little stories based around the history of Dundee. Some remain personal to the author whilst others are more factual accounts of events from Dundee's past. Don't expect to get "involved" with this book in the way you can with "Voices in the Street". But if you like reading short, snappy stories in a few minutes then this book might suit you.

I would give this book as a present for a good read.suitable for anyone old enough to remember these times.even younger readers would enjoy learning how the other half lived in these times.Well written and presented humorous at times and you feel you are with them when you are reading.
