Warbling warbles of warbliness
on 23 April 2013
He warbles more than on the first album, sounds like Antony (and the Johnsons) Hegarty crossed with Burial.
There's a moderately successful collaboration with Brian Eno (Digital Lion); and a wholly unsuccessful collaboration with the RZA (Take A Fall For Me) it sounds like something Tricky would have thrown in the bin in the late nineties, utterly dreadful.
Then there's a bizarre 'buy drugs take drugs' uptempo track (Voyeur).
By the time tracks 9 and 10 were playing I was hoping there wasn't going to be a track 11.
I preferred the first album and EP to this, and I didn't like them very much.
