3.0 out of 5 stars Short and too contrived
I'm not familiar with Agatha Raisin and took this as a sampler for her full length books. I was enjoying the characters and the scene, suddenly Agatha appeared, went to the shop and by some literary miracle, the whodunit was solved! I know it was only a 'short' but it stretched credulity beyond breaking point. Maybe not the best introduction to what I'm sure are better...

Very disappointing, way too short story. There was no plot as such, and this was really not worth the bother.

Extremely short, badly written and little to no plot. Disappointed! If it hadn't been free, I would have asked for my money back.

Unfortunately very boring - so glad I got it for free. Such a shame as I really like reading the books.

I know this book was advertised as a short story but come on! It was SO SHORT that it was all over in less than five minutes - I've written longer emails! And the story line was so hurried it just looked as t through she couldn't wait to get it finished

1.0 out of 5 stars Could do better !!!, 25 Jun 2014

I think she had written an outline of the plot, on a few pages. and sent those by mistake to be printed instead of the book is should have been .I love her Agatha Raisin books, I wish that they would make a TV series of them, as they did for Hamish Macbeth. Who would they choose to play the lead....Penelope Keith springs to mind..
