3.0 out of 5 stars Good idea
Came quickly but keeps falling off the window so will be getting my Mum a bird table instead. Will fix it in the better weather but will find some way of getting it to stick to the window!

It was exactly as described .Its sturdy as the grey squirrel has already visited !!The overhanging flap keeps the seeds dry from rain and the birds love it

Our birds love this and it generates hours of entertainment for us. It can come loose from the window on very wet and windy days but other than that it's great.

Does the job well. Still stuckon the window despite howling gales & magpies landing on it & starling by the 1/2 dozen!
Easy to clean as the tray lifts off the back. Great.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sturdy see through feeder, 11 April 2013

Purvhased this feeder in the lightning sale at a great price. Had one before and it fell to bits due to frost damage but this model seems more sturdy. Suckers fit well to glass and middle is see through so does not obscure view from window or door used.

The birds definitely like it but they include a lot of big heavy pigeons. Suckers can't take the weight and it falls off quite frequently.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for getting close to the birdies., 20 Mar 2014

If you stand still you can get within a foot/30cm of the birds on the other side of the glass, giving you ability to study their appearance in great detail. As long as you keep the glass clean you can get some greatly detailed pictures. I use a tripod with my Nikon D50 and a Sigma 17-70- lens.Make sure you thoroughly clean the glass before sticking (suckering) it on and it will stay put pretty well, except when the occasional Red Deer takes a liking to the seed and knocks it off, or a hurricane force wind dislodges it, as is the case here in the Scottish Highlands !

If you own a flat like me but would like to feed and watch garden birds up close, stick this on your window and watch. Can take a week or two before they get used to it, but a bit of patience and it's well worth it.
