* I WAS GIVEN THIS BOOK BY THE PUBLISHER, IN RETURN FOR AN HONEST REVIEW *
(Please note, this is not the full review. Full review contains spoilers and graphics.)
To be perfectly honest, I think this book blew Book 1 out of the water, and you know how much I enjoyed that one. Being continually frustrated with Paige and always in love with Nathan was a really great piece of craftsmanship. Yes, I had a moment of exasperation with Nathan being over-protective (a really, really tiny moment), but unlike Paige, I gave him the benefit of the doubt and he always proved that my loyalty was well placed.
As I've said before, again and again and again, I will never, ever take to Brayden. The stuff he's done to hurt Paige, not one, but many times is beyond beyond. There is no way I can ever put into words how much I want to give Paige a shake and make her see sense. I see NOTHING attractive about any of Brayden's qualities; looks or personality.
BUT!!! Where would we be without a little drama? I have to give Rebekkah Ford a massive round of applause for creating a world that I was able to step into, in its entirety. For writing a book that made my lose track of time and meals and sleep. And for creating characters that I care about, love, hate and loathe. The only reason I feel so strongly because of these characters, is because of what she's done to weave this whole intricate world together. BRAVO!

Dark Spirits by Rebekkah Ford is a delightfully spooky escape. A whimsical fun-filled tale that is both quirky and Edgy.
The Beyond the Eyes series is proving to be is an entertaining fun filled adventure. I really like the author's natural writing style. Easily pulled me in and captivated my interest. I also like that you get more than one point of view, it makes for even a better read. The characters are realistic in an unrealistic world. Made me feel for them even if their plights are different than ours. This is a suspenseful story that kept me guessing all the way through.
Nathan and I stared at each other, trapped in our own thoughts. And then, bit by bit, pieces started falling into place, like a game of Scrabble where the letters you had didn't make sense, but then as the game progressed they formed a word.

I was sent this book by Rebekkah and I am absolutely dumb struck. Not only has she managed to keep me interested in the story, she has left me thirsty for more. I love all of the characters, even the demons. Paige and Nathan have both developed in their relationship and in their characters, growing with every turn of the page. I feel like I am on the journey with them and I cannot wait until the next book comes out. Rebekkah is a very talented author and I feel very lucky to have stumbled upon her work. It takes a lot to make me feel physical pain while reading, drawing me in so deeply that I feel the pain of the characters and its something I haven't felt since New Moon and the Hunger Games. My heart is still pounding and my hands are shaking. Compelling, and looking forward to Devil's Third.

When I read and review the first book of this series, I promisied myself that I'd read everyting else that Ford wrote. I kept that promise, and I'm glad I did because this is equally as good as the first. Beyond The Eyes is now my favourite series of book; may she write a 1,000 more.
