Don't be fooled by the marketing, this mouse is of very poor quality. I really wanted to like this mouse, but it has no redeeming features.
Firstly, Bluetooth does not work on a Mac. Even if your Macbook has the correct Blutooth 4 specs, pairing always fails, or it may pair and then disconnect.
Mad Catz support isn't good. 35 minutes to speak to someone who didn't know about Macs, he promised to email me with a fix, and his fix was to use the USB dongle. Hilarious.
Not only that, but the USB performance was also very poor. Tracking in a straight line was jerky and laggy, this was the same on PC and Mac.
The left and right click button switches felt really cheap and nasty, sometimes they would engage, sometimes not.
The final nail in the Mad Catz coffin was that the wheel left click did not engage properly, sometimes it would click and nothing happened, sometimes there was no click at all.
The supplied battery was sealed and lasted under 5 minutes. This is a big difference from the 12 months they claim and this brings me to another point. If you are buying this mouse because of the battery life claims, keep in mind that those claims are only for Bluetooth 4 operation, USB is much less.
The M.O.U.S 9 is a cheaply made plasticky lump of junk, dressed up in fancy packaging in a bid to relieve the average punter of extra cash for a seemingly premium product. Do yourself a favour and buy something else, this is not worth the price tag or the hassle.
